Wildland Fire season, unfortunately, is upon us. Arizona and the White Mountain Area has had several small and three large fires. It only takes one careless person to destroy our forest and homes. You are invited to look at a web site that the fire departments all over Arizona and the southwest use on a regular basis for fire information,  http://gacc.nifc.gov/swcc

Wildland Fire Report: One Fire in Arizona, the Solano Fire, 2177 acres burned, 85% contained,278 persons, 9 crews, 4 engines, 3 helicopters. The fire is located 20 miles east of Sells Az. and is burning in brush. Raley's IMT type II team is handling the incident.

NFPA report: Home cooking fires are still # the 1 cause for home fires. Get the report at http://www.nfpa.org Also look for the quick links section on the left hand side of this page for a wealth of information under "Fact sheet and safety tips".
